MTVR TRAILERS IN PRODUCTION
All three variants of the MTVR Trailer are now in production and undergoing rigorous testing at the Nevada Automotive Test Center (NATC).
Choctaw Defense, formerly operating as Choctaw Manufacturing and Development Corporation (CMDC), is a wholly-owned corporation of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Choctaw Defense operates three ISO-9001:2000 compliant manufacturing facilities located in Antlers, Hugo and McAlester, Oklahoma. These plants are located within the historic boundaries of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Choctaw Defense is incorporated as a tribally owned corporation and is certified by the SBA as a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and is also HUBZone certified by the SBA.
1988 - Choctaw Manufacturing and Development Corporation (CMDC) began production of Laser Guided Bomb Components for Texas Instruments from the Hugo, Oklahoma facility.
1998 - The company was granted HUBZone and 8(a) classifications from the U.S. Small Business Administration. These certifications have allowed Choctaw Defense to greatly expand its capabilities and demonstrate proven performance in a broad range of manufacturing specialties. Choctaw Defense was awarded the prestigious Nunn-Perry Award (named in honor of former Senator Sam Nunn and former Secretary of Defense William Perry) for outstanding Mentor-Protégé teams formed under the DoD Mentor-Protégé program.
2001 - Choctaw Defense acquired the McAlester, Oklahoma Industrial Park and more than doubled its manufacturing space.
2008 - Construction was completed on an 80,000-sq.-ft. facility at the McAlester Industrial Park for the production of MTVR-Trailers.
Today – Choctaw Defense has more than 200 employees fulfilling contracts for the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, as well as Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon.
