As Executive Vice President Thomas Fite currently leads the Capture and Proposal team across all lines of business. Thomas’ responsibilities include identifying and managing the resources needed to pursue business opportunities, formulating CONUS & OCONUS proposal approaches, pricing, and teaming strategies. Thomas manages the transition from business opportunity to proposal development through award, this includes developing consulting resources, analyzing the organization’s strategic plans and products, and aligning internal capabilities with marketing intelligence to formulate a discernable win strategy.
Previously Thomas led the Strategic Business Group of DynCorp International’s (DI) Vehicle Maintenance Support Business Area Team. This group specializes in the global maintenance, support and logistics of all ground vehicles, including the highly successful Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) family of vehicles and the MATV Underbelly Installation Kit upgrade program in Iraq and Afghanistan. Thomas was directly responsible for the Total Package Fielding for Medium Tactical Vehicles under the FIRST Contract.
Prior to DI, Thomas worked at Elbit Systems of America where he managed their “Contract’s Pursuit, Negotiation, & Administration Group”. He was involved with all rotary aircraft pursuit strategies, including ESA’s strategic win of the updated Mission Processor on the Apache Block 3 program. Thomas was responsible for reviewing and approving all proposal submissions as well as providing risk assessment on all new programs.
Thomas also worked at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics from 1987 to 1998 as an International Contracts Manager, and was responsible for supporting offset agreements in which he set up production contracts with major aerospace companies located in Egypt, Greece, and Israel.
Thomas holds a B.S., with honors, in Political Science with an area of concentration in Congressional Studies, and a minor in Psychology all from the University of Oklahoma.
